Antonio Johnson, 31, was shot in his red Cadillac, which then crashed into a parked car at Godwin Avenue and Rosa Parks Blvd, around 2:45 p.m. Friday, city Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

Johnson was pronounced dead at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, he said.

Around the same time, a second victim of the same shooting -- identified as 26-year-old Otis Johnson -- arrived at the hospital's emergency room.

He remained in critical but stable condition with several gunshot wounds, Speziale said, adding that the Johnsons weren't related.

While both were being shot, another shooting incident occurred about a half-block away on Godwin, Speziale said.

His detectives and those from the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office were investigating, the director said.

He asked that anyone with information that could help solve the shooting contact Detectives Ralph Fermin, Jack DeSalvo and Mary Martinez of his department or prosecutor's Detective Anthony Aceste: (973) 321-1120.
