A judge ordered 19-year-old Abdel McCrea held on $35,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail on child porn possession charges.

Members of Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik's Internet Crime Unit executed a warrant at McDrea's Dale Avenue apartment -- across from the K-1 Dale Avenue Elementary School -- and found him using a mobile device to distribute illegal files, the sheriff said Thursday.

Detectives recovered 14 of the files, which were stored on a cloud that he accessed from the device, Berdnik said.

They were "examining several devices recovered from the residence," with the possibility that more files are recovered, he said.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office assisted, Berdnik said.
