TMZ reportedly obtained a video of the incident involving Willie Maxwell and three companions in the Route 4 supermarket just after 9 p.m. Friday (CHECK BACK HERE).

According to a police report obtained by CLIFFVIEW PILOT under OPRA, the 19-year-old cashier told police that he was working the checkout stand when he was “approached by a female party in the group and struck with an open hand.”

Maxwell and another man then attacked him, he said, before co-workers separated them.

Police reported some swelling on the side of the face where the cashier was struck.

He refused medical attention and said he didn’t want to press charges, according to their report.

They said they told him that he could still sign a complaint in the future.

Maxwell, who lost his left eye to congenital glaucoma, quickly produced hit records in the two years since he began recording.
