Pair pinched with primo pot

They’re an odd couple, both 24 and single, a portly clerk and a personal trainer who authorities said had 17 pounds of high-grade marijuana in their car when investigators grabbed them in Bogota.

Henry Perez, 24 (far left), listed his residence in Bogota while working for a New York City company called Temple Spa and Gym. Angelo Rodriguez is a food company clear who lives in the Bronx.

Someone with good reason told investigators from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department that the pair would be transporting the weed, which authorities valued at a sizable $5,000 a pound — or more than $300 an ounce.

Detectives were waiting, although they didn’t say whether Perez and Rodriguez were leaving or pulling up to Perez’s Elm Street residence when detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and Bogota police nabbed them.

Both are spending Christmas in the Bergen County Jail, on $75,000 bail each, charged with trucking pot for sale.
