NJ Motor Vehicle Commission extends licenses, registrations, inspections

State authorities have extended all driver’s licenses, registrations and inspections that expired yesterday to the end of this month as a result of Sandy.

Select Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) stations have been re-opened, including the inspection facilities in Lodi, Secaucus and Wayne.

All written and road driver’s tests and specialty vehicle scheduled through Saturday have been cancelled. The MVC said it will set new dates.
