NJ baseball cap bandit: Do you know him?

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN? New Jersey FBI agents are hoping someone recognizes the bandit who has robbed at least four TD Bank branches since August, each time in a different baseball cap.

In two incidents, they may have been Rutgers hats, they said.

In each holdup, the robber gave the teller a demand note and took off with undisclosed amounts of cash, the FBI’s Newark Field Office said in a release.

He’s described as:

  • 5’8”
  • 170 lbs
  • medium build
  • with a beard and mustache

The robberies:

Aug. 9, 7:12 p.m., TD Bank, 74 Rt. 571, East Windsor. The bandit wore a short-sleeved shirt, dark pants, large sunglasses and a baseball cap with a large white ‘R.’

Aug. 23, 7:50 p.m., TD Bank, 1010 Raritan Rd., Clark. He wore a dark baseball cap with a large, white’ R’, a short-sleeved polo shirt and dark pants.

Sept. 8, 2:50 p.m., TD Bank, 3024 Rt. 516, Old Bridge. Baseball cap, sunglasses, blue polo shirt, grey pants.

Nov. 16, 7:15 p.m., TD Bank, 70 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen. Baseball cap, large sunglasses, black jacket, grey shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.
