Starlin Villalona-Perdoma of Van Winkle Avenue is charged with sexual assault and child endangerment, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
Detectives from Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit and Garfield police arrested Villalona-Perdoma.
The girl “initially reported the incident to the Paterson Police Department, who then contacted the Garfield Police Department,” he said. “They contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and a detective from that Unit along with a detective from the Garfield Police Department subsequently interviewed the victim.
“She described to them in greater detail what had occurred.”
An arraignment was set for this coming Tuesday.
