ONLY ON CVP: Glen Rock firefighters cut a Hawthorne driver from her SUV after she fell asleep behind the wheel and it slammed into a tree this morning.

The 66-year-old woman was taken to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with what emergency responders considered minor injuries after she lost control of the vehicle as it headed south on Lincoln Avenue at Isabella Place around 7:20 a.m.

Glen Rock police and EMS workers responded along with firefighters and Ridgewood police, who assisted with traffic.

A flatbed removed the SUV.
