Fence Rammed, Three Cars Swiped From Clifton Auto Dealer

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Someone stole a Mercedes, a BMW and a Maxima after plowing through a Clifton car dealer's fence, police said.

Police from Clifton and Paterson responded to B&M Auto Mall on Hazel Street on a 2 a.m. burglary report Thursday and found the front door forced open, the office ransacked and a fence broken, apparently with a vehicle, Clifton Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.

Gone were a 2010 Mercedes Benz, a 2011 Nissan Maxima, and a 2007 BMW, he said.
