FBI seeks public help finding Paterson, JC bank robber in hoodie, plaid beret

HAVE YOU SEEN HIM? He wore a plaid beret, a hoodie and thick glasses, and looked to be elderly. Now the FBI is seeking the public’s help finding the man who robbed a bank in Paterson on Tuesday, exactly two weeks after he held up another in Jersey City.

He’s roughly 6 feet tall, thin, about 170 to 180 pounds, with “noticeable skin pigmentation around his upper mouth” and acne scars.

The robber hit a TD Bank on 21st Avenue in Paterson at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.

On Oct. 29, he held up the Santander Bank on Newark Avenue around 2:20 p.m.

Anyone with information about either or both holdups, or the man in the photos, is asked to call the FBI: (973) 792-3000
