Elmwood Park police nab 2 from Paterson in stolen car

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Elmwood Park police responding to the GPS tracking of a stolen car arrested two Paterson residents this morning after finding them at a Route 46 gas station.

Sgt. John Harris and Officers Michael Ingrasselino and Michael Kempe nabbed the pair just after 8 a.m. in the parking lot of the Valero service station on the highway’s eastbound side, Police Chief Michael Foligno told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Moments earlier, Foligno’s officers had recwieved an alert from a Paterson company that the vehicle had been stolen was pinged to the area of the TD Bank on Market Street and Midland Avenue.

Nathan Pittman, 50, and Jaquina Davis, 42, both of Paterson, were charged with receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools. They were released pending a court appearance.
