Elmwood Park police make Narcan save

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Elmwood Park police said they revived a 23-year-old overdose victim with Narcan after he’d used several bags.

Officers Daniel Martinez, Michael Johnson, Michael Mulligan, and Sgt. Charles Pensari found the victim lying on the floor of a second-floor bathroom on Boulevard at 2:30 a.m. yesterday, Police Chief Michael Foligno said this morning.

“He was non-responsive, unconscious and had very shallow breathing,” Foligno said.

Shortly after Martinez administered the Narcan, the victim came around.

He was taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson.
