Officers spotted one vehicle pull into the lot around 5 p.m. and another pull alongside it a short time later, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

Once the deal was made, they moved in, he said.

Arrested were:

Bonita Brown, 49, of Elmwood Park;
Jason Cook, 31, of Sparta;
Kaytie Hazekamp, age 26 of Hamburg;
Giles Harris, 45, of Paterson.

All were charged with possession of the heroin and crack, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Harris also received a pair of illegal weapons possession charges for a folding knife and box cutter that Foligno said police found him carrying.

All were released without bail pending a Municipal Court hearing.
