Ecstasy, catch ’em, and payin’

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: More than $2,100 passed hands when investigators arrested two men on charges of selling Ecstasy. Last week, an undercover detective from Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli’s office bought 100 pills for $510, the prosecutor said. Then came the big score.

Investigators arrested Brian Ruiz, 20, of Passaic and Anthony Ahmad, 18, of Garfield, on charges of selling 400 Ecstasy pills.

Molinelli said they also found 50 additional pills and 6½ ounces of pot at Ruiz‘s home. Neither has a job. Court appearances are scheduled.
