Driver charged with DUI in Route 80 street sweeper crash in Saddle Brook

ONLY ON CVP: A Paterson man was charged with DUI after his car collided with another vehicle and a state DOT street sweeper on Route 80 in Saddle Brook overnight, State Police said yesterday.

No serious injuries were reported, although Saddle Brook firefighters had to cut one of the drivers from a vehicle following the 1 a.m. crash in the highway’s eastbound lanes at milepost 62.3.

Ramon Morales Jr., who was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant 2001 was charged with DUI, State Police Capt. Stephen Jones told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
