Port Authority police, in turn, arrested 41-year-old Wayne Walker of Queens and charged him with unlawful imprisonment, assault and unlawful solicitation.

The incident began just after 4 p.m. yesterday when Walker offered the man a ride in his 2004 Nissan Pathfinder.

The victim, who spoke limited English and was unfamiliar with the airport, was trying to get to Terminal 1 from Terminal 2 — a distance of about 25 yards, the Port Authority’s Joseph Pentangelo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Walker drove the man in circles around the airport, then handed him a receipt for $149, Pentangelo said.

The victim told police he tried to get out but Walker locked the doors.

A struggle followed, with the car swerving back and forth before it finally stopped, Pentangelo said. The man then got out shouting for help.

Officers quickly grabbed Walker, who Pentangelo said had received a previous trespass warning.

EMS workers treated the victim at the scene, he said.
