Clifton Police Department Appoints New Chief

CLIFTON, N.J. — New Clifton Police Chief Mark Centurione takes over on May 1, NorthJersey.com reports.

Centurione, a captain who began his career with Clifton as a patrolman in 1994, is an Army veteran of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield, NorthJersey.com says.

Centurione served as sergeant and lieutenant of the patrol division before being promoted to captain of patrol and Administrative Bureau, his current position, NorthJersey.com reports.
