Child fine, pregnant mom and passenger injured in Fair Lawn crash

ONLY ON CVP: A young child was fine but a pregnant driver and her male passenger were taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson after a crash sent a mini-van careening into a street light and a utility pole.

Fair Lawn police and EMS responded to the crash between the Dodge Caravan and a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Harristown Road shortly before 4:30 p.m.

The Jeep was driven away. The van had to be towed.

Elm Avenue northbound was temporarily closed between Maple Avenue and Harristown Road.
