PHOTOS: A 76-year-old bicyclist was in full cardiac arrest after being struck by a car driven by an 81-year-old woman in Fair Lawn this afternoon.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson with serious head and other trauma after he was hit by the 1997 Infiniti I30 at the intersection of Plaza Road and Waverly Avenue at 12:25 p.m., Lt. James Corcoran told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

No summonses were issued, the lieutenant said.

Both the driver and the cyclist, who responders said wasn’t wearing a helmet, are from Fair Lawn, Corcoran said.
