Thaddeus Gil, 46, who has since moved to Newark, has profiles on a few social sites — including deviantART.com and YouTube — and is listed as “available” on more than 50 others, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has found.

He primarily has used the screen name “Tgil3036,” but Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said he also used: “TGil” and “Thad Gi’l.”

Records show that Gil was sentenced in Passaic County in January 2002 for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. As part of his release, Gil, who found work as a driver for a Secaucus company, was to remain under community supervision for life and not use the Internet to access social media sites, the prosecutor said.

Gil was arrested following a joint investigation by members of the squad and the New Jersey State Parole Board Sex Offender Management Unit. The prosecutor also thanked Hillsdale police for providing personnel to the task force.

He was being held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail following Sunday’s arrest, records show.

Molinelli asked that anyone who may have had online contact with Gil to call his Computer Crimes Unit: (201) 646-2300
