A driver said his knee hurt but refused transport to the hospital after his Honda Accord took down a couple of street signs and hit a utility pole on southbound Maple Avenue in Fair Lawn just before 3 p.m.

Fair Lawn police and EMS workers and paramedics from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson responded. The Honda removed by a flatbed tow truck.

A short time later, a woman lost control of her white 4-door sedan on North Van Dien Avenue near Linwood Avenue and it crashed into a utility pole. No immediate injuries were reported, nor was there any loss of electrical service in the area.

The vehicle had to be removed by flatbed truck.

Soon after, a maroon Lexus rolled into a utility pole on Pascack Road near Cathy Ann Court in Paramus after the driver possibly suffered a medical episode.

He was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Police were investigating all of the incidents.
