YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: New Jersey State Police arrested a woman Friday who ducked $21,000 in child support payments out of Bergen County, skipped court on an aggravated assault charge in Passaic County and eluded authorities for 11 years. The key: a special hotline set up by Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino.

Heather Martin was wanted by authorities in Bergen and Passaic counties for failing to pay support, as well as in Clifton, where police said the aggravated assault took place.

She’d been moving among New Jersey, Florida and Pennsylvania before Saudino’s officers notified State Police of a tip that placed her in the northwestern New Jersey town.

Troopers found Martin at the address supplied by the tipster and were holding her pending transportation to the Bergen County Jail. Detainers are being placed on her from both Passaic County and the city of Clifton, Saudino said.
