Stanislaw 'Stanley' Gasior, 88, Longtime Clifton Resident

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Stanislaw "Stanley" Gasior, of Clifton, died on Sunday, March 27. He was 88.

Born in Poland, Gasior came to the United States in 1964 and first lived in Pittsburgh. He moved to Clifton 32 years ago. He worked as a custodian in the Clifton Public Schools, retiring 20 years ago.

"Stanley was a hardworking, private and quiet man who enjoyed working in his garden," according to information provided by the funeral home.

Gasior is survived by his son, Zbigniew; wife Krystyna; grandsons Tomasz and Christopher; dear friend Daniela; and three sisters living in Poland. He was predeceased by his parents, Wincenty and Germana Gasior.

Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave., in Wallington. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, 7 Parker Place, in Passaic. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, 120 Saddle River Rd., in South Hackensack.
