NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- Florence T. DeRoo passed died on Monday, Dec. 7. She was 93.
Born in Fair Lawn, she was a long time resident of Hawthorne and Prospect Parkbefore moving to North Haledon in 2002.
DeRoo was a Dietary Aide at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prospect Park.
DeRoo's twin brother Clarence and her sister Jessie Van Oss predecease her.
Florence is survived by her brother Albert G. DeRoo of Sussex along with fourteen nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.
The receiving of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 4-7 p.m. at the Holland Home with the funeral service following at 7 p.m.
Burial will be private.
