CLIFTON, N.J. — Allan E. Masty, of Clifton, died Aug. 21. He was 78.
He was born Aug. 11, 1938, in Passaic, to John and Jannet (Mackowicz) Masty.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the 1960s and was honorably discharged Feb. 28, 1966.
He worked at various jobs throughout his life, but some of his most memorable times were when he worked at Tru-Beck Chemical in East Rutherford.
He is survived by his sister, Anita Ketcho; and brother-in-law, Walter Ketcho.
He was laid to rest with his parents at a private family service at St. Michael's Cemetery in South Hackensack.
