WAYNE, N.J. — The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders rededicated the Dey Mansion on Monday, Feb. 22 in honor of President and General George Washington’s 284th birthday.

Period re-enactors, history buffs and students toured the historical landmark to see the renovations that began in 2012.

State and county grants funded the almost four-year process on the home that served as Washington's headquarters during the Revolutionary War.
