CLIFTON, N.J. -- The city of Clifton has started a clothing recycling program.

Used clothing will be collected in blue-green metal boxes Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The boxes can be found at city hall, 900 Clifton Ave.

The clothing is reusable and should not be thrown in with solid waste, the city website states.
