Feng and 25 youth from 15 nations rode from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. in June to raise awareness of human rights violations against the Falun Gong, who she said are often tortured and killed in China.

Feng was named a “young hero” by the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia for the campaign, which took 45 days, and received an award that will include her story on a plaque in the museum’s Young Heroes Exhibit, according to The Record.
