WAYNE, N.J. — Palazzone 1960 in Wayne is listed as the most popular sweet spot in New Jersey on BuzzFeed's recent rundown of the "Best Bakery in Every State."

BuzzFeed used an algorithm that considers the number of reviews plus the star rating for every bakery on Yelp to compile its list.

Palazzone 1960, named after the region of Campania near Sorrento, opened the first of its U.S. flagship stores in Wayne in 2012.
