Landscapers Sparked Explosive Fire At North Jersey White Castle, Officials Say A two-alarm fire at a North Jersey White Castle that left workers with burns was sparked by a substance used by landscapers that got into the restaurant's electrical system, officials said. An employee at the Westfield Avenue restaurant in Elizabeth went to plug something in, sparking an explosion around 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, abc7 reports. City spokesperson Ruby Contreras confirmed a landscaper was spraying something that got into the electrical wires. White Castle Run: Paterson PD Seize 2 Handguns, Driver, Two Passengers Paterson police responding to a call of armed suspects at the White Castle early Saturday nabbed three men and seized a pair of 9mm handguns. Officers carefully approached a gray Acura with tinted windows and a temporary license plate in the parking lot of the Broadway fast-food restaurant shortly after 7:30 a.m., city Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
