Burglar Dies After Getting Trapped In NJ Italian Restaurant's Exhaust Fan
A burglar died after he became trapped inside of an exhaust fan at a New Jersey Italian restaurant Monday, authorities said. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. at Two Brother's From Italy on W. White Horse Pike, police in Galloway said. There, officers found an unidentified white male who attempted to get inside the restaurant through a rooftop exhaust fan. During the attempt, the male became trapped within the exhaust fan and was unable to free himself. Human Remains Found In South Jersey Woods
Human remains were found earlier this week in a wooded area in South Jersey, authorities said. A nearby resident stumbled upon the skeletal remains believed to be of a male, in the woods, according to Galloway police. The call came in about 8:40 a.m. Monday at 187 South Pomona Road in Galloway Township, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said. An autopsy has been completed and the results are pending. Human Remains Wash Up On South Jersey Shore
UPDATED: New Jersey State Police are investigating a body found along the Atlantic County shore. Human remains were found by a passerby on the northern portion of Brigantine Beach at 9:47 a.m. on Thursday, according to Sgt. Lawrence Peele, a state police spokesman. New Jersey State Police, State Park Police and Brigantine Police Department responded to the scene in Brigantine, Peele said. Prosecutor: Philadelphia Man Admits Bludgeoning His Brother Dead At Atlantic City Hotel-Casino
A 39 year-old man from Philadelphia has admitted to bludgeoning his younger brother to death last year at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, authorities said. John A. Villante pleaded guilty on Thursday in an open plea to first-degree aggravated manslaughter, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said. Villante faces 10 to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced on Oct. 26 before Presiding Superior Court Judge Bernard E. DeLury. Fisherman Finds Body At Inlet Where Swimmer Went Missing 6 Days Earlier
A fisherman found a body floating in the same Cape May County inlet where a 24-year-old swimmer went missing six days earlier. Relatives of Jabed Ikbal, 24, of Clementon were notified after the fisherman found the body of a young man at the inlet south of the Ocean City-Longport Bridge, around 6 a.m. Saturday, an Ocean City Police Department spokesman said.
