Asbury Park Brewery said in a news release that it'll officially reopen at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 24. The new brewery is located in a 3,180-square-foot space on Cookman Avenue, just a block away from the House of Independents concert hall. The brewery originally opened in an old warehouse on Sewall Avenue in 2016 and has been run by musicians who grew up playing at nearby venues. Authorities Seek Witnesses To Fatal Shooting On Jersey Shore Authorities are seeking witnesses to a fatal shooting last summer in Asbury Park. On July 28, 2022, shortly before 7:30 p.m., police responded to gunfire on the 1600 block of Sewall Avenue. Police found 33-year-old Kyshon Washington-Walker of Shrewsbury with multiple gunshot injuries, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago.
