Gunshot Victim Found In Central Jersey Car Dies: Prosecutor A man found with gunshot wounds inside of his car has died, authorities in Middlesex County said. The unidentified male was found inside a car near Aspen Court in Piscataway around 4 a.m. Labor Day, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The incident was being investigated as a homicide. James Jasper, 66, of Fords, is believed to have shot his wife, Lynn Jasper, 69 of Fords, before turning the gun on himself at a house on Soren Street in Woodbridge Wednesday, Aug. 31, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Man, 29, Arrested In Fatal Shooting Caught On Video In Central Jersey: Prosecutor A 29-year-old man from Central Jersey has surrendered to police in the fatal daytime shooting of another man in his car last week.  Yhakeem Kornegay, 29, of Carteret turned himself in on Sunday, May 22, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carteret Police Chief Dennis McFadden. Kornegay was charged with murder, attempted murder and weapons charges, they said. Malik Pandy, 27, of Carteret was killed in the shooting. It occurred at 1:09 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18 on Lincoln Avenue.  The shooting was captured by surveillance video.  …

Male Critically Wounded In Central Jersey Morning Shooting One person was left critical following a shooting in Central Jersey Sunday, authorities said. The male was found with a gunshot wound around 10:20 a.m. near Remsen Avenue and Seaman Street in New Brunswick, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition.
