Officers were called to the Speedway gas station on Route 37 East at around 3:28 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, the Toms River Police Department said in a news release. Man Assaulted, Robbed In Jersey Shore Restaurant Bathroom; Teenagers Charged: Police Two teenagers were arrested in connection with an assault and robbery of a man in a Jersey Shore restaurant bathroom, authorities said. On Sunday, Sept. 17, at approximately 2 a.m., Toms River police were called to a restaurant on Route 37 East for a report of an injured man. Police did not identify the restaurant. The 25-year-old male victim told police he had been in the restroom washing his hands when he was assaulted by two males.
