Three youths were attacked by two suspects carrying a machete in Lakewood, authorities said. The attack occurred during a fight on Saturday, June 3 at approximately 10:50 p.m., Lakewood police said. Police received a call from Monmouth Medical southern Campus stating that they had three stab wound victims, police said. The juvenile victims reported that they and the suspects exited their vehicles at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue before a confrontation began. A 66-year-old man on an e-bike was seriously hurt when he collided with a car in Monmouth County, authorities said. On Tuesday, March 21, at 3:51 p.m. Wall police responded to the intersection of State Route 35 and Lakewood Road. The bicyclist, from Brielle, had been traveling east on Lakewood Road when he entered the intersection with State Route 35, Wall police said. He collided with a Volkswagen driven by a 36-year-old Toms River woman who was traveling south on Route 35, police said. A Jeep Wrangler was being sought in a hit-and-run crash that left a scooter rider critical early Wednesday, May 25, authorities said. The victim was struck near Victory Bridge on Route 35 north in Sayreville around 5:25 a.m., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief John Zebrowski said. A 60-year-old man was seriously injured when a tractor-trailer he was working on rolled over him, authorities said. On Tuesday at approximately 1:25 p.m., Sayreville police were dispatched to 222 Jernee Mill Road in reference to an individual being struck by a tractor-trailer with injuries. A 32-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Jersey Shore crash on Tuesday, authorities said. Philip Gurganious, of Browns Mills, was heading north on County Route 539 when he left the roadway near Lincoln Boulevard and struck a utility pole around 6:45 p.m., Manchester police say. Union County Driver, 51, Airlifted In Garden State Parkway Crash
A Union County driver was airlifted in a Garden State Parkway crash overnight, New Jersey State Police said. Wahid Perry, 51, was headed south when he struck the center concrete barrier and bridge support near milepost 131.9 in Woodbridge around 2 a.m. Monday, Trooper Alejandro Goez said. Perry was ejected and flown to Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, Goez said. No other passengers or vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
