Man Beat Hotel Concierge During 11-Day Crime Spree Across Newark: Police
Authorities in Newark captured a man who beat a hotel concierge sending him to the hospital in the midst of an 11-day burglary spree, they said. Bryant Dudley, 36, was captured on surveillance video breaking into a laundromat, deli, clothing boutique, nail salon and two banks between April 10 and 21, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara said. NJ Boy, 4, Found Unresponsive After Falling From Sixth Story Window
A 4-year-old boy who was found unresponsive after falling from sixth-story window in Newark was hospitalized Friday, authorities said. The incident occurred just before 2:20 p.m. from a building on Oxford Street near Raymond Boulevard, Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara said. The child was transported to University Hospital for treatment and was reportedly in stable condition. The New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Placement responded to the scene. The incident is under investigation by the Newark Police Division Special Victims Unit.

Emotional Video Shows Newark Police Rescuing Suicidal Man
The moment Newark police rescued a man threatening to jump over a railing to his death at Riverfront Park was captured in an emotional video. A woman who saw the man flagged down officers in the area around Read Street near Raymond Boulevard shortly before 9:45 p.m. on Feb. 24, authorities said.
