Victim Shot 4 Times After Denying Robbers Even More Money In Ocean County: Prosecutor Two men have been arrested after police say they robbed then shot someone they knew at an Ocean County home over the weekend. Christopher Miller, 36, of Paterson, and Marc Manfredonia, 32, of Little Egg Harbor, were met at an East Hudson Drive home by a 36-year-old man around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Robbery Investigated At Toms River Convenience Store Toms River police are investigating a robbery of a convenience store. On Tuesday at approximately 9 p.m., Toms River police were dispatched to Lakewood Road, on the corner of Cox Cro Road, for a reported robbery in progress, police said. Two male suspects allegedly entered the convenience store, walked behind the counter and physically assaulted the clerk. He was struck in the face numerous times before being forced to open the register, police said. The suspects removed the money from the drawer and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of proceeds.  …

Police: There's Another Side To Fight Between Bergen Firefighter, Cellphone Store Employee UPDATE: There's another side to an incident involving a New Milford firefighter and an employee at a cellphone store in Bergenfield whom he accused of attacking him in front of his young son, police said early Tuesday evening. Daily Voice left a message early Tuesday with an employee at the T-Mobile store on South Washington Avenue who said the manager was expected at work sometime during the day. The call wasn't returned, however, and the store -- which ordinarily closes at 8 p.m. on weekdays -- shut down early.
