‘She Was A Hero:’ Somerset County Rescue Squad Vice President Stephanie Scheiderman Dies At 25 Tributes are pouring in for dedicated EMT and Somerset County rescue squad vice president Stephanie Beth Scheiderman, who died at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at the age of 25. Born in Plainfield, Stephanie was raised in Green Brook, where she earned her Girl Scouts Silver Award and participated in theatre and color guard before graduating from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2015, her obituary says. Here's What's Replacing Shuttered NJ ShopRite Store, Report Says At Home decor chain plans to open another New Jersey location in Middletown, the Asbury Park Press reports. At Home recently signed a lease to open in Middletown Plaza and will move into the 20-year-old space formerly occupied by ShopRite at 1425 Route 35, the outlet says. ShopRite moved across Route 35 to the Kings Commons Shopping Center where the business remodeled a former Sears store, according to the report. While At Home fills a major vacancy at Middletown Plaza, there are still others, such as the former Walgreens, which occupies more than 14,000 square feet, the outlet said. …

New Trader Joe's Coming To Freehold New Trader Joe's Coming To Freehold
New Trader Joe's Coming To Freehold There's a glimmer of good news on the retail circuit: A new Trader Joe's wholesale grocery store is coming to Route 9 in Freehold this year.  Other tenants at Pond Road Plaza include DSW, Michael’s and Petco. The Trader Joe's store is expected to move into 12,588-square-feet of vacated space previously occupied by Walgreens. The pharmacy closed in 2015. It was previously reported the company was interested in expanding into the Monmouth County town as early as the fall. Trader Joe's already operates a store on Broad Street in Shrewsbury.
