Three North Jersey business owners admitted importing and selling cheap knockoffs of Cisco Systems networking equipment after federal agents seized an unprecedented $14 million worth of the devices from their warehouse in Passaic County.

Three unemployed ex-cons posing as Amazon delivery workers pistol-whipped a Bergen County homeowner before fleeing with cash, sneakers and jewelry, authorities said.
Newark native Jazmir Carter, 25, currently of Stroudsburg, PA, and Brick City residents Ameer Holcomb, 42, and Michael Carter, 26, forced their way into the North Arlington home after the victim opened the door around 9:30 a.m. Feb. 21, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Kristine Violante of Lyndhurst died suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 5, her obituary reads. She was 32 years old.
Kristine was a cosmetologist and certified veterinary technician who loved animals, her obit reads. She opened Fluffy & Fido, a pet care service, in 2018.
Violante's social media pages are peppered with photos of her snuggling with and walking animals.

James Gelcius Of Kearny Dies, 26
James Gelcius of Kearny died on Sunday, June 19. He was 26 years old.
James grew up and lived in Kearny, and was passionate about fishing, riding his ATV, video games and listening to music, his obituary says.
Services were held June 26 with interment at oly Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
James was predeceased by his father, Richard A. Gelcius, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Lynch, and, one sister, Jennifer Lynch (Angel Rodriguez).
