Man Dies By Suicide At Sourland Mountain Preserve, Police Say The search for a missing man ended in tragedy on Friday, June 7, when police found he'd died by suicide in a popular New Jersey hiking area. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the Sourland Mountain Preserve around 3:05 p.m. after Somerset County dispatch was notified by Princeton police that a man had gone missing, Hillsborough Police Sgt.
