Police in Monmouth County recovered a stolen car that crashed on the Garden State Parkway and made one arrest, authorities said. One suspect was in custody at about 8:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14. Police have identified the missing swimmer whose body was recovered at a Monmouth County reservoir over the weekend. Jose M. A Colts Neck man who committed a string of bank robberies has been sentenced to 15 years in New Jersey State Prison, authorities said. A 58-year-old man died after coming in contact with power lines in a workplace accident Tuesday, July 11 in Monmouth County, authorities said. Kevin McAdorey was working near 1040 Route 35 on a motorized scissor lift when the lift came in contact with power lines, causing McAdorey to fall 20 feet to the ground around 12:30 p.m., Middletown Police Chief of Police R. Police Investigate Crash In Middletown
Middletown police were investigating a crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13 at Main Street and Grace Avenue, Middletown police said. One driver had a complaint of pain and refused transport to a medical facility. The other driver and her two children sustained minor injuries and were transported to Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank for treatment, police said. Police have identified the two teenagers from Essex County who were arrested on the Jersey Shore in connection with a stolen BMW. On Friday, May 13, shortly after midnight, a Tinton Falls police officer located a BMW 3-Series sedan that was reported stolen from Lawrenceville Police. Stolen Autos Reported In Central Jersey
There were a couple of reports of stolen vehicles In Central Jersey. One came out of Middletown about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and involved a blue 2020 BMW, initial reports said. An unconfirmed report said that it was taken from an Acme lot on Newman Springs Road. The second report of a stolen came out of Red Bank about 2:15 p.m. The Investigation is still ongoing at this time and the vehicle has not yet been recovered, Cpl. A Middletown police officer filed a false report after getting into an accident with his police cruiser, authorities said. Thomas E. Foster, 33, of Keyport, has been charged with falsifying records, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said in a statement.
