Authorities have identified the three people killed in a fiery crash on Route 1 in South Brunswick earlier this month. Charisse Nelson-Bailey, 24, Daniel Vida, 28, and Maria Passalaris, 25, all died in the Friday, April 12 crash near Ridge Road, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Woman, 34, Killed Walking Along Garden State Parkway
A 34-year-old woman from Pennsylvania walking along the Garden State Parkway in Middlesex County, NJ, was struck and killed by a pickup truck, authorities said. Liliya Rosenblum was struck by the Chevrolet pickup at about 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, in the southbound left lane near milepost 130.2 in Woodbridge, New Jersey State Police said. Jersey Central Power & Light is planning to trim trees to protect more than 3,400 miles of power lines across the Garden State, officials said.
