You can hardly get your mind around it: A 44-year-old pedophile from Passaic kept a 5-year-old girl captive while sexually assaulting her in his car, authorities charged. The victim is familiar with Oscar Fuentes-Sierra, 44, who was arrested without incident this week by members of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, authorities said. Teen Boy Dead, Another Wounded In Double Passaic Stabbing
A 16-year-old boy was killed and a 17-year-old boy hurt in a stabbing overnight in Passaic, authorities said. The city residents were apparently arguing when the incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. on Krueger Place and Poplar Streets, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman said. The 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead and the 17-year-old boy was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. The investigation is active and ongoing.

One Confirmed Dead As Smoky Fire Consumes Passaic Restaurant
A woman was confirmed dead in a fire Wednesday afternoon that devoured a Dominican restaurant in Passaic. She was 58 years old and lived in a two-bedroom rear apartment of Santo Domingo Invita on Passaic Street where the fire originated, Mayor Hector Carlos Lora said.
