Collin Jimenez, NJ Bartender Dies Suddenly At 27 Collin Jimenez, a Linden native, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 15, according to his obituary.  Born in New Brunswick, Jimenez lived in South River and Linden, graduating Linden High School in 2016, his obituary reads. He was manager for Bonefish Grill in East Brunswick and worked at 33's Tavern in South River as a bartender, according to his obituary. In his free time, Jimenez enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter Emily, his obituary reads. A fundraiser has been set up to support Emily. High School Senior Could Be Youngest Zoning Board Member In History For This NJ Town At 18 years old, Hagr Elweshahy was appointed to the Linden Zoning Board this week. The high school senior's new role makes her the youngest Zoning Board member in city history. Elweshahy was appointed to the Board by Linden Mayor Derek Armstead at the Tuesday night, Feb. 21 City Council meeting. Xavier McClain died on Wednesday, Sept. 21 after suffering a traumatic brain injury during a game on Sept. 9 against Woodbridge High School, according to Linden Mayor Derek Armstead.
