Air Liquide Explosion In Branchburg Hospitalizes 2 People Two people were injured after an explosion at an industrial gas company in Branchburg on the early morning of Wednesday, June 5, authorities said. At 4:30 a.m., first responders arrived at 197 Meister Ave. and found smoke visible from the Air Liquide building, Branchburg police said in a release. Two people suffering from chemical burns were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment, police said. Air Liquide is a French industrial gas supplier, its website says.
