Morris County Travelodge Hotel Evacuated Following Balcony Collapse, Police Say A Travelodge hotel in Morris County was evacuated Tuesday morning after a balcony collapsed, authorities said. The Parsippany District 5 Fire Department was called to the hotel just after 10:20 a.m. and confirmed that a balcony on the first floor of the north-facing side had collapsed. Initial reports corroborated by Parsippany Focus stated that the incident occurred at the Travelodge on Route 46 East. Photos: 4-Alarm Fire Destroys Howard Johnson Inn, Sends Guests Scrambling In Camden County A massive four-alarm fire destroyed a Howard Johnson Express Inn on Black Horse Pike in Camden County overnight, authorities said. Fortunately, all the hotel's guests and staff escaped without injury, police in Gloucester Township said.  The blaze broke out about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Johnson Inn at 832 North Black Horse Pike, initial reports said.
