'Fun-Loving And Warm' Central Jersey Woman Dies After Being Found In Vehicle: Police
A Middletown woman died after she was found unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle, authorities said. Middletown police responded to the report of a vehicle that drove off the road near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Collinson Drive at around 12:36 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, the department said in a news release. Officers found 60-year-old Carol Calvano unresponsive and slumped over the steering wheel. After officers performed CPR, paramedics rushed Calvano to HMH Riverview Medical Center. Fair Lawn Native, 32, Killed In Route 208 Thanksgiving Day Crash
A 32-year-old driver from Fair Lawn was killed when his car struck a utility pole on Route 208 early Thanksgiving evening. William Hennecke was driving his 2002 Porsche Boxter convertible when it veered off the southbound highway and into a utility pole just past Maple Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, Fair Lawn police said. A Fair Lawn High School teacher was arrested Thursday and charged with sexually assaulting a former student, multiple sources confirmed.
