74-Year-Old Woman Killed In South Jersey House Fire: Police A 74-year-old woman was killed in a house fire, authorities said.  At 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Medford police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to the 100 block of Taunton Boulevard. Emergency responders arrived on location within minutes of the calls and found fire coming out of the first and second-floor windows, according to Medford police. The unidentified woman was found deceased on the residence's second floor, police said. US Marshals Nab Fugitive Wanted For Stealing PA Pickup, Striking Police Officer In South Jersey With help from U.S. Marshals and the New York State Police,  police in South Jersey have arrested a man for allegedly assaulting a police officer in a stolen pickup truck, authorities said. The Ford F-150 pickup was reported stolen out of Bristol, Pennsylvania late last month and a suspect was arrested on Thursday, Evesham Township police said.  The suspect taken into custody was identified by Evesham police as Michael Martin.
