Jessica "Jessy" Molina-Colmenares, of Egg Harbor Township, is being remembered as a gentle, intelligent, and caring young woman, having just finished her first year as a nursing student at Rutgers University her obituary says.

Three young children were locked in a hot car while their caretakers shopped at a New Jersey Walmart, authorities said.
Cyndie Jourdain and a 17-year-old female, both of Galloway Township, had been inside the Egg Harbor Township store for approximately 45 minutes by the time police rescued the three crying children on Wednesday, June 8, local police said.
Temps outside soared to 86 degrees, they said.
Police used a lockout kit to rescue the children, ages 3, 1, and 5 months, who were turned over to Egg Harbor Township EMS for treatment.

Two New Jersey fugitives have been arrested on murder charges in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old Atlantic City man last spring, authorities said.
Denzel Garrison, 28, of Newark was arrested Tuesday by Newark police and charged with murder, conspiracy and weapons offenses, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill.
Laquine Demby, 30, of Pleasantville, was arrested Tuesday by ACPO detectives and Pleasantville police and charged with murder and conspiracy, Shill said on Wednesday.

33-Year-Old Man Struck, Killed By Driving Running Red Light, Police In Atlantic County Say
A 33-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver who ran a red light Monday morning in Atlantic County, authorities said.
Michael Doyle, 31, of Tuckerton, was heading east on BlackHorse Pike when he ran the light at English Creek Avenue and struck Anthony Swezeny, of Egg Harbor Township, local police said.
Swezeny was trying to cross the Black Horse Pike from the south to north side when he was hit by Doyle in a 2003 Honda CRV, police said. Doyle then struck a 2021 Chevy van, authorities said.
