Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Franklin Township Crash As 43-Year-Old Resident Police said they have identified the man who was killed in a crash in Somerset County on the early morning of Saturday, June 1.  At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane, Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather said.  The motorcyclist, Darrell Montgomery, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene, Maeweather said. Police responding to reports of a crash on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane in Franklin Township found a crashed motorcycle around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, June 1, Franklin Township Police Lt. Vincent T. Wilson said. The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m. at the scene. Police did not release an identity. A section of the roadway was closed for three hours.
